University of Houston

Graduate College of Social Work at University of Houston (Houston TX) offers various scholarships, stipends, assistantships and fellowships as funds become available. The committee of GCSW representatives and CPS representatives selects the recipients of stipends. Students enrolled full-time will receive up to five semesters of $5,000 per semester. Students admitted unconditionally into the M.S.W. program can apply for assistantships. program. Students must interview and apply for positions.

Illinois State University

University of Minnesota

Saint Louis University

(St. Louis MO): All prospective students at Saint Louis University are automatically screened to determine their eligibility for merit-based scholarships. The School of Social Work offers a fellowship that covers the full tuition for both new and continuing students. You will be automatically considered for a partial or full graduate assistantship if you fill out the graduate assistantship application.

University of Texas at El Paso

The Department of Social Work at UTEP also offers stipends to students for internships that are specific, scholarships based upon financial need and paid positions as Research Assistants and Graduate Assistants. Department-specific grants currently allow the Department of Social Work to provide partial and complete financial support to many student. The Office of Scholarships and Financial Aid offers need-based and merit based programs to all students.

University of Washington

Seattle, WA: The University of Washington School of Social Work offers different funding options for MSW students, including fellowships, scholarships and assistantships. There are also other programs available to help supplement your education.
